Since 1946, the Black Hills Playhouse has produced spectacular plays featuring professional actors, directors, sets, costumes, sound and lights in an intimate theatre (300 seats).
Delighting generations of playgoers, this gorgeous location in the heart of Custer State Park features air-conditioning, a covered and lighted log picnic structure (which accommodates large groups for catered events), a snack bar, clean restrooms, parking and group rates (tour operators and drivers attend free as our guests!)

Black Hills Playhouse performances are Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 pm. with Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2 pm from June 6 through August 18, 2013.

Group Reservation Policies
- A non-refundable deposit equaling 15 percent of the total ticket price is required no later than 30 days after the reservation is made. There is a one time handling fee of $1.00 per ticket added to your reservation.Full payment must be received on or before 30 days prior to selected performance date which is also the last day to change number of reserved seats.
- Please Note: Group seating is subject to availability. Any additions to group numbers may result in seats that are not adjacent to group and are subject to availability.All group sales are final. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.
